The High Line, a central park of Chelsea, is now representing a new way of living in the city.  While walking along the green line participants explore new view points in the city. The site chosen with its affinity to the High Line, therefore, has a great potential to develop a new relationship between the building block and the urban green space.
As the idea of ecology is becoming a duty of every citizen, in what way could people live efficiently in a sustainable society?
Farming in the city allows the producer and the consumer to have a direct relationship. While today, cultivating agricultural products next to the consumer  in the urban context is something very precious because proximity with nature, fresh product, production without transportation are very rare.
Like this is rare and precious we designed this farm as a jewel.
Thus, vertical farm is an amazing objet that shines by the city witch. It is suspended and highlighted in the project as precious stone.
In this configuration, housing units crimp the farm which can be seen from all around and even from above, as a jewelry.
This green crystal has a strong presence at the urban scale. It also provides new spatial qualities to any interior (all housing, shops, snack bio ...) by giving them a view to agriculture.
Naturally, the project is designed also to be as a vertical extension of  High Line. The project and the High Line reinforce their activities each other and they will develop together.
